WILL RIGNEY, CHAIR

As AT&T’s Director of External Affairs, Will Rigney is responsible for government and community relations and corporate giving in Contra Costa and Marin Counties.  In his years with Pacific Telephone, Pacific Bell, SBC, and AT&T, Mr. Rigney has held a number of assignments with these companies.  The responsibilities have included Marketing, Strategic Planning, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, and Government Affairs.  He serves on a number of boards of directors.  In Contra Costa County these include: the Pittsburg and Richmond Chambers of Commerce, the Contra Costa Council, and the Contra Costa Taxpayers Association.  He also serves on the Advisory Committee of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Contra Costa County.  in Marin County, Mr. Rigney serves on the boards of directors of the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce and the Workforce Investment Board of Marin County.  He also serves on the Advisory Committee of the North Bay Children’s Center.  Will was educated at the University of California – Berkeley and the University of Southern California.  He has earned both Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees.  He and his wife Beth have three children.


CARAN CUNEO, VICE-CHAIR

Caran Cuneo is currently the Human Resources Director for PC Guardian. As HR Director, Caran manages all human resources activities, including recruiting, staffing, compensation, benefits, and employee development.  Caran has been in Human Resources for 15 years with a background in service and telecommunications. PC Guardian, based in San Rafael since 1984, develops and sells computer security products to Fortune 500 companies domestically and internationally.  PC Guardian has 50 employees and anticipates continued growth as the market for computer security continues to expand.  Caran holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois and a certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources since 1996. In addition to serving on the Workforce Investment Board of Marin County and their Executive Committee, Caran is an active member in a number of North Bay professional associations including the Marin HR Forum where she currently serves on the Board of Directors as Past President.


JOAN CAPURRO, CHAIR, BUSINESS & FINANCIAL SERVICES COMMITTEE

As the Director of Community Relations, Joan is responsible for the corporate giving and relations with the community at large.  She oversees the community giving in the areas which are served by the bank, from San Francisco to Petaluma.  Joan has been in Banking for all of her career.  For the last thirty years she held management positions ranging from supervisor to Area Manager of four branches of the Crocker Bank. She was the manager of the 4th Street Branch of the Bank of Marin in San Rafael for a number of years before taking her present position.  She is the President of the Board of Marin County School Volunteers. Joan has served as the Past Chair of numerous organizations including the Workforce Investment Board, The Salvation Army, Marin Senior Coordinating Council, Whistle Stop, Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, Ross Valley Rotary, Marin Forum, College of Marin Foundation, American Red Cross and the United Way of Marin. She serves on the Board of the Center for Volunteer and Non-Profit Leadership of Marin, the Marin Asset Building Collaborative and sits on the development committee for Petaluma Ecumenical Properties which provides low income housing for seniors & the disabled. Joan is active on the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce, being a member of the Governmental Affairs Committee, the Nominating Committee and the Leadership co-chair for the class of 2007 -2008.
